Centrally located in mid-town Ventura, we are only 10 minutes from downtown and 5 minutes from the 101 freeway. Parking is easy with plenty of residential roadside parking very close to the Center on Arcade Street. Parking is free all day. With several restaurants nearby and a supermarket within a short walk away, the VNC is a great place for your workshop or retreat. The studio has a warm inviting atmosphere. During the day a large skylight illuminates the space with natural light. During evening hours you may choose soft lighting or overhead fluorescence. The space is limited to 39 people, plus instructor/s. complete sound system & restroom facilities available, no showers.

Space for Your Retreat or Workshop

The VNC space is ideal to host your own retreat or workshop. The space is 1,500 with 1,300 of open space to move and play. The floor is professional martial arts foam rubber matting and requires that no outdoor shoes be worn as the mats are intended for bare feet only. Bare feet, socks or a soft-soled indoor shoe are appropriate. Low-seating chairs such as Back-Jacks or beach chairs can be used on the flooring. Typical 4-legged chairs will damage the floor mats and are not permitted. The space is ideal for large gatherings, lectures, workshops, meditation, Yoga classes, most barefoot techniques and programs that work with a conscious intent.
