Lisa has been studying West African drum and dance for the past 9 years with her partner and teacher, Budhi Harlow, who provides live drum music for her dance classes with his magnificent drummers and guest musicians. Lisa has been a performer most of her life in dance and voice, and began teaching aerobics at the young age of 18. Lisa has studied with some of the best West African dance teachers in the country, Lisa's dance classes are geared for all ages and abilities. While teaching an all levels class can be a challenge, Lisa succeeds because of her uncanny ability to break down the steps in time without losing the unique feel of the dance step.
